To learn Hangul (Korean alphabet) visit  Korean Wiki Project. Don’t rely on Romanization alone if you really want to learn Korean because it becomes more complicated. If you just want to learn for fun then it’s ok to focus on Romanization. Have fun learning! :D


*There are 3 different ways of saying excuse me
♥ 잠시만요 = excuse me
(jam-si-man-yo)
literal meaning: “Just a second.”

죄송합니다 = excuse me
(jwe-song-ami-da)
literal meaning: “I am sorry.”

잠깐만요 = excuse me
(jam-kkan-man-yo)
literal meaning: “Just a second.”*
죄송합니다 = I’m sorry (jwe-song-ami-da)

*There are 2 ways of saying good bye
 If you are staying, and the other person is (or the other people are) leaving, you can say: 
안녕히 가세요 = good bye
      (an-nyeong-hi ga-se-yo)
 If you are leaving, and the other person is (or the other people are) staying, you can say:
안녕히 계세요 = good bye
     (an-nyeong-hi gue-se-yo)*

맞아요 = That’s right, you’re right
     (ma-ja-yo)

= Yes
    (ne)

아니요 = No
      (aniyo) 

감사합니다 = Thank you
     (gam-sam-ni-da)

안녕하세요 = Hello, Hi
      (annyeon-aseyo)
