KDramas and Movies

These are in order from the first drama I’ve seen to the one I’m watching right now.
I try not to be too specific in my summaries because I don’t want to give anything away. Please don’t get mad at me if I don’t write everything down :D

I'm not going to write summaries anymore, now I'm going to give my thought on the dramas I've seen. IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH WHAT I SAY PLEASE DON'T GET MAD, NOT EVERYONE HAS THE SAME THOUGHTS. Again thanks to everyone who's been reading ^_^

Jewel Bibimbap

I really liked this drama, when I first noticed that it was 50 episodes I thought that it was going to drag on, but I was wrong. This drama had such a great story line, the only thing I didn’t like so much was the ending it felt like it was rushed, I believe they should’ve added a few more episodes to end it smoothly. This drama is about a family and their struggles and how they end one chapter in their lives to start a new one. It’s really cute, I liked it a lot.

Pasta

The more I saw this drama the more I liked it. It’s really good, besides the fact that it gets you mad with the lead male because of his unfairness, but besides that it was a great story surrounded by food (and come on, who doesn’t love food?) and HOT guys. The story is basically about a woman who is a kitchen assistant for three years and finally gets to become a cook, but immediately gets fired under new management. It shows her struggles of trying to convince the chef that she really wants to cook and her tenacity makes him fall for her. Liked it a lot, great cast, recommend.

* I've decided, instead of writing a summery of the drama, I'm going to talk about how I felt about it: if I liked it, disliked it, etc.
THESE ARE JUST MY OPINIONS, SO PLEASE DON'T GET UPSET IF YOU DON'T AGREE, NOT EVERYONE THINGS ALIKE OR LIKES THE SAME THINGS ^_^
So from here on I'm going to, I guess you can say I'm going to review the dramas (give my thoughts about it)

Heading to the Ground
I was only interested in this drama because Uknow (DBSK) comes out in it.
Cha Bong Kun is a young soccer player who’s had a difficult life. Years before he had to go to jail and stop playing due to a hit and run accident he didn’t cause. After being fired by his soccer team he meets a very tenacious girl Hae Bin, an agent, who wants him to sign with her. Bong Kun agrees and because she is so kind to him he starts liking her, however he finds out her boyfriend is the person who cause the hit and run from before. Since they meet again Bong Kun’s life becomes difficult all over again.
I actually really liked this, it was a good story and you really get into. I was even a little sad once it ended lol. Recommend. And if you like UKnow you are going to like him in this one :D

Goong
What can I say about this drama? I was putting this off, but I so regret it! It was so good!!
A common girl and the Prince have to marry each other due to a promise made by their grandparents. Neither of them wants to enter this marriage, but in the end give in. She has to learn how to become a Princess and even though she is surrounded by seriousness her good nature wins the Royal family over. Both the Prince and Princess don’t like each other, but slowly start getting to know each other and realize they miss the other person when they are gone. However due to ex-girlfriends and new family members coming into the Palace their love has to take the long road.
I really don’t want to give anything away. You guys should really watch. One of my favorite dramas and it has a really cute ending! Totally recommend.

You’re Beautiful
Mi Nam(boy) and Mi Nyu(girl) are twins. Mi Nam dreams of becoming a star while Mi Nyu dreams of becoming a nun. Mi Nam has the chance of signing with the famous A.N.JELL’s, however he is not in the country at the time so they ask his sister, Mi Nyu, to pretend to be him. Even though at first she doesn’t want to, but later agrees not knowing that she has to be her brother for a month. Nobody in the band wants her or him especially the lead singer Tae Kyung. Due to complications with her brother the one month turns into several. Will she be caught?
I really enjoyed this drama, very cute and funny. Recommend.

Boys Over Flowers
This drama is so popular, but I’ll summarize it for those of you who haven’t seen it.
F4 are the most rich and popular boys in Shin Hwa high, an extremely prestigious school. They red tag anyone who does the most insignificant thing, once you’re red tagged you’re a target for everyone in the school. Jan Di is an average girl who stands up for what she believes in and doesn’t let herself get bullied. She is forced to attend Shin Hwa High. One day her friend drops her ice scream on the F4 leader Jun Pyo’s shoe and he tells her to lick it off. Jan Di stands up for her friend, which causes her to get red tagged. After weeks of torture Jan Di doesn’t give in and this time punches out Jun Pyo to show him that she won’t back down. He confuses that threat with Jan Di having a crush on him and becomes interested in her. In the mean time the quiet member of the group Ji Hoo considers Jan Di an interesting person because she’s the only one that didn’t back down from the Flower 4 and starts helping her. Jan Di starts liking Ji Hoo, but now Jun Pyo is trying to win her over. This drama is long, but interesting and cute. You really have to watch it.

Wonderful Life
Han Seung-wan (Kim Jae Won) leaves for Singapore to surprise his girlfried on her birthday, and Jung Se jin (Eugene) is on the same flight to say farewell to her deceased "first love" who died in Singapore. When literally bumping into each other at the airport, they accidentally take each other's passports. They meet again and Seung-wan and Se-jin end up spending the day together. Se-jin knows about his girlfriend, who is two timing Seung-Wan with Min Do Hyuk (Lee Ji Hoon). Partially to help Seung-Wan avoid from discovering the truth, Se-Jin spends the rest of her time with him. They both get drunk out of sadness of their loves, and end up sleeping together. Back in Korea, Se jin discovers she is pregnant. She leaves to have the baby alone. A series of events happens for about a year, and Se Jin's clueless sister ends up spilling the secret to Seung-Wan at this engagement party, showing up with Han Shin Bi (Jung Da Bin), his daughter, without Se-Jin. Seung-wan's life is forced to face fatherhood and the anger of his two-timing girlfriend - Lee Chae-young (Han Eun Jung). Se-jin reappears as they are forced to marry by their respective families. Complicated love takes place, as Do-Hyuk starts to fall for Se-Jin, and so does Seung-Wan, though Se-Jin is more focused on her loving daughter, as something surprising happens to her. The rest of the story revolves around the family's journey in learning to take responsibility, and learning to love each other.
(I did not write this, It’s a summary from MySoju.com)

Autumn in my Heart
Yoon Joon-suh and Yoon Eun-suh grew up believing they were brother and sister. Until one day Eun suh is in a car accident which causes the family to find out that she was switched at birth. The girls switch back to their original families and right after Eun suh’s previous family move to the United States. Her “brother” Joon suh can’t accept what has happened and after being separated for many years he returns from the States to Korea. They meet up again, but they have feelings have grown in both of them. However, Joon suh is engaged and everyone sees them as brother and sister. Will they be able to be together?
This drama sounds a little weird, but its not as weird as it sounds, I thought it was ok.
WARNING! Sad ending

Brilliant Legacy
Again this is somewhat like the Cinderella story so no need to repeat the beginning. After believing her father is dead and loosing her autistic brother Go Eun Sung takes in a grandmother who has lost her memory. Believing that the grandmother has no one to take care of her Eun Sung treats her like her own grandmother. It turns out the grandmother is a rich business woman in search of a successor and after staying with Eun Sung and seeing her kindness decides to give everything to her. Eun Sung moves into the grandmother house, but her arrogant grandson doesn’t agree since he wants the money for himself. After spending so much time together their hateful feelings towards each other slowly start to fade away and other feelings rise up.
This drama has so much going on, and there’s even more people involved. A great drama to watch recommend it to everyone.

My Girl
Yoo Rin has had it rough so she has learned to cheat and lie. Gong Chan is a rich young man who is in search of his long lost cousin. He believes that Yoo Rin has information about her. Gong Chan’s grandfather falls sick and in a desperate attempt asks Yoo Rin to be his fake cousin. At first it was easy to pretend, but then they start falling for each other and to make matters worse Gong Chan’s old girlfriend comes back wanting a second change. I really liked this drama; it was funny, cute, and sad. I really recommend it.

Que Sera Sera
Kang Tae Joo is a player. Han Eun Soo is a young girl in the big city looking for her younger sister. They meet and he is quickly annoyed by this young innocent girl. Eun Soo develops a crush on Tae Joo, but he’s trying to prove to her that they are no match. After a long time Eun Soo accepts it and later starts crushing on some other guy. Eventually Tae Joo gets jealous, but can’t really do anything since he’s in a fake relationship with another girl who later falls for him as well. This was ok, the thing that I liked was that the player fell for the girl he least expected.

Full House
The story is about an actor who likes his privacy and a gullible short story writer. Han Ji Eun’s friends trick her into going to China on vacation while they sell her house. She meets Lee Young Jae (the actor) on the plain, but only to annoy him. When she gets back she has no house and apparently Lee Young Jae is the person who bought it. In order to get her house back she enters a contract marriage with Young Jae, but slowly feelings start to grow. Really cute drama, totally recommend.

Stairway to Heaven
This was the very first drama I ever saw. I went in not knowing what it was, but within minutes I was hooked.
Short Summary: The story is somewhat like Cinderella with the evil step mom and stepsister. Childhood friends (friendship later develops into love) were forced to be apart due to jealousy, even though they were apart for many years and after so many obstacles, they proved that their love can’t be broken. A very sweet story with a lot of tears and frustrations, but I really recommend it. WARNING! Sad ending
